Baked Salmon with Lemon and Thyme: The Paleo Diet Recipe for Dinner

Salmon tastes great and it is one of the top recommended foods you can eat while following the Paleo diet. This is because it is loaded with plenty of omega 3’s as well as healthy fats that your body needs to function at its best. Have this simple Baked Salmon with Lemon and Thyme as your Paleo diet recipe for dinner:


  • 32 oz piece of salmon
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • Olive oil, for drizzling


  1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and place salmon, skin side down, on the prepared baking sheet. Generously season salmon with salt and pepper. Arrange capers on the salmon, and top with sliced lemon and thyme.
  2. Place baking sheet in a cold oven, then turn heat to 400 degrees F. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve immediately.
